Earna Referral Leaderboard Program – Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern this Earna Referral Leaderboard Program (hereinafter this “Program”) offered by Earna Inc. (hereinafter “Earna”, “we” or “us”). By participating in the Program as either an Ambassador or a Referral, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any other applicable terms and conditions, including Earna’s Privacy Policy, Earna Rewards Policy, and the Earna Referral Bonus Program terms. Any capitalized term not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Cardholder Agreement.

1. DEFINITIONS

“Active Period” means the period for which Ambassadors are eligible to compete for the Prize on the leaderboard.

“Ambassador” means an existing Earna Cardholder in Good Standing who shares their Leaderboard referral link.

“Leaderboard” means the digital display ranking Ambassadors by listing their name and scores, and, if applicable, their respective rank.

“Province” means the Canadian province the Leaderboard applies to.

“Prize” means the Cashback amount assigned to each defined rank of the Leaderboard.

“Bonus” means the amount received by the Ambassador or the Referral as part of their participation in the Program.

“First Purchase” means the first successful, settled Purchase made by a Referral using their Earna Card. To avoid confusion, this excludes refunds, reversals, and pre-authorizations.

“Referral” means a new Cardholder who signs up for Earna using an Ambassador’s Leaderboard referral link.

“Referral Count” means the number of Referrals accumulated by an Ambassador towards the Leaderboard.

2. ELIGIBLITY

Ambassador and Referral eligibility are defined in the Earna Referral Bonus Program. In addition, only Ambassadors whose province of residence on file matches the Leaderboard’s Province may participate. Referrals must also be from the same Province to count towards the Leaderboard. Eligibility also requires use of the dedicated Leaderboard referral link. Referrals generated via the standard referral link do not count toward leaderboard rankings.

3. PRIZE STRUCTURE

Ambassadors in an eligible Province compete for ranked Prizes during a defined Active Period by referring eligible Referrals. Referrals must complete their First Purchase to count towards the Referral Count. Each successful Referral counts towards the Referral Count. Prizes are attributed to different positions of the Leaderboard, each position depending on the Referral Count. Each ranked Prize will be defined by Earna and displayed on the Earna Website. Each Active Period will be defined and displayed on the Earna Website.

Ambassadors are still earning their Earna Referral Bonus Program Bonuses as per the program’s terms and conditions. If two Ambassadors finish with the same Referral Count, the Ambassador who reached the designated rank first will be the one obtaining the designated Prize, and, failing that, as determined by Earna in its sole discretion.

The Prizes displayed are an estimate of the notional equivalent of the Earna Cashback and do not constitute actual monetary value until redeemed.

4. MISCELLANEOUS

All the other terms and conditions that apply to the Earna Referral Bonus Program also apply to this Program, as applicable.
