Earna Visa Disclosure Statement, Rate and Fee Schedule
Effective: January 9, 2026
This Earna Visa Disclosure Statement, Rate and Fee Schedule ("Disclosure Statement") is provided by Earna Inc. ("Earna", also referred to as "we", "our" and "us") in connection with the Earna Visa Card (the "Card") issued by Equitable Bank. This Disclosure Statement sets out the annual interest rates and fees that apply to the Account, summarizes certain provisions of the Earna Cardholder Agreement (the "Cardholder Agreement"), and forms a part of the Cardholder Agreement. Capitalized terms not defined in this Disclosure Statement have the meanings indicated in the Cardholder Agreement. This Disclosure Statement applies only to Earna Visa Cards Accounts and Cards. We may change the information set out below in accordance with the Cardholder Agreement.
Questions - If you have any questions about the Card, please email [email protected] or contact us at +1 (800)-777-2884.
| Initial Credit Limit | Your initial Credit Limit is assigned at the end of your application for a Card. Your initial Credit Limit could range from $500 to $1,500. Your specific Credit Limit will be presented prior to your acceptance of the Card. Your current Credit Limit will be shown on each monthly statement and can be found in-app and online. |
| Annual Interest Rates |
The annual interest rates that will apply to your Card are set out in this information box and expanded in the "Annual Interest Rates" section below. These annual interest rates are in effect the day the Card is activated. The applicable annual interest rate will be shown to you upon approval of your Card and on each statement. Preferred Rate for Purchases: 24.99 - 29.99% The Preferred Rate for Purchases applies to all Purchases. The Preferred Rate for Fees applies to all fees detailed in the section "Other Fees" of this Disclosure Statement, as well as the Foreign Currency Conversion Fee (collectively the "Fees"). The Preferred Rate for Purchases and the Preferred Rate for Fees are individually and collectively designated as the "Preferred Rates". You will lose the benefit of the Preferred Rates if a Minimum Payment for one Billing Cycle has not been paid by the Payment Due Date and the next scheduled payment as per the PAD Agreement does not go through for any reason whatsoever. In such case, beginning on the first day of the next Billing Cycle following such missed scheduled payment, the rates that apply to your Balance for Purchases and Fees will be the Standard Rate for Purchases and Fees. At any time the Standard Rate for Purchases and Fees apply, the Standard Rates for Purchases and Fees will continue to apply until, for three consecutive Billing Cycles, you pay at least the Minimum Payment for each particular statement on or before the Payment Due Date for each statement, in which case the applicable annual interest rates will stop being the Standard Rate for Purchases and Fees, effective from (and including) the first day of the next Billing Cycle following such payment, and will be the Preferred Rates. The Rate for Cash Advances always applies to Cash Advances and Cash Like Transactions. We may make special offers to you from time to time, including promotional interest rates offers that temporarily lower the interest rates applicable to portions of your balance. These special offers are more fully explained in the Special Programs and Features section of the Cardholder Agreement and additional terms and conditions. |
| Interest-free Grace Period |
You will benefit from an interest-free period of 21 days for new Purchases and Fees if you pay the Balance in full by the Payment Due Date shown on your statement. If you do not pay the Balance in full by the Payment Due Date, you must then pay interest on all Purchases and Fees shown on that month's statement from the posted date until we receive your payment for the total amount you owe. There is no interest-free period for Cash Advances and Cash-Like Transactions. Interest is charged from the day the Cash Advance is made until we receive your payment for the total Cash Advance amount you owe. |
| Determination of Interest |
You can avoid interest on new Purchases and Fees each month by paying the Balance in full on or before the Payment Due Date shown on that month's monthly statement. If you do not pay your Balance on or before the Payment Due Date, you must pay interest on each Purchase appearing on that statement retroactively from the posted date until the day we process your payment in full for those Purchases. Fees are treated in the same manner as purchases for the purpose of charging interests, with their corresponding annual interest rates. The posted date for a Fee is the date that the Fee is posted to your Account, unless specified otherwise. Cash Advances and Cash-Like Transactions are treated differently and never benefit from an interest-free grace period – please refer to the Interest-free Grace Period section for further explanation. If interest is charged, it is calculated daily by multiplying the total daily interest-bearing balance for each category of charges by the corresponding annual interest rate in effect for that category and dividing that by the number of days in a year. The interest charges for each day of a Billing Cycle are then added together and charged to your Account on the last day of each Billing Cycle. Interest accrues on purchases, fees and other charges, from (and including) the date the Transaction is posted to the Account until we receive payment in full of the amount of the Transaction, however, interest on new purchases and fees will be waived when subject to an interest-free grace period as set out above. Interest that is charged to the Account will be compounded monthly. |
| Minimum Payment |
The Minimum Payment for each statement will be equal to the highest of: (a) The sum of: (i) 20% of all Purchases, plus; (ii) 20% of all Cash Advances, plus; (iii) 100% of all Fees, plus; (iv) 100% of the interests from previous Billing Cycles, plus; (v) any Instalment Plan Payment posted on your statement, plus; (vi) any amount by which your Balance exceeds your Credit Limit, plus; (vii) any amount past due that is unpaid; or (b) $30.00 |
| Foreign Currency Conversion |
If you use your Card for a Transaction in a currency other than Canadian dollars, the foreign currency amount will be converted into Canadian dollars before it is posted on your Account. We will convert the amount of your Transaction to Canadian dollars at the conversion rate established by Visa International Incorporated. Some foreign currency transactions are converted directly into Canadian dollars, while others may be converted into U.S. dollars prior to being converted into Canadian dollars. For Purchases, Cash Advances, Cash-Like Transactions and credits to the Account, the conversion rate is set at the time the transaction or credit is presented for payment to Visa. When the Transaction is posted to your Card Account, in addition to the conversion rate, you will be charged a foreign currency conversion fee of 3.50% of the Transaction after the foreign currency has been converted to Canadian dollars (the "Foreign Currency Conversion Fee"). This fee applies to both debits and credits. |
| Other Fees |
You will be charged on the day the Transaction or event occurs unless otherwise indicated below:
|
| Cash Advance Limit | Your Cash Advance Limit will range between 10% to 60% of your Credit Limit. Your Cash Advance Limit will be shown on each monthly statement and can be found in-app and online. |
